A Brief Introduction to Mrs. Weinberg
I look forward to teaching all of you this year! As an experienced math teacher, I have a variety of teaching experiences that encompass multiple grade levels and instructional models. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of mathematics education and hold both a B.S. and Masters in secondary math and elementary education. From the coast of Oregon to the coast of Australia, I have taught multiple subjects and grade levels, but have found the greatest enjoyment teaching secondary mathematics.

Outside of my love for math, I enjoy running in my spare time. I have competed in numerous marathons and actually finished third in the woman’s division in the Atlanta Marathon last year. I hope to one day qualify for the Boston Marathon. I missed it by two minutes five years ago and am determined to surpass the qualifying time this year at the Denver Marathon. When I am not completing math problems for fun, you will find me hiking, snowshoeing, walking my three dogs, or knitting.
