Advanced Geometry

Course Objectives:
This course is an academically challenging program that has been designed with the following objectives:

1. To be able to develop and evaluate mathematical arguments and proofs.
2. To be able to select, apply, and translate among mathematical representations to
solve problems.
3. To be able to use visualization, spatial reasoning, and geometric modeling to solve
problems.
4. To be able to use algebraic reasoning to address geometric ideas.
5. To work and communicate effectively in groups.
6. To prepare for various standardized test such as ACT, SAT, and CSAP.
